Risk Taker A strange feeling of suspicion drifts, Considers resting in me A call comes too early and scares off the sleep. Flickers of recognition on a strangers face Does he know what's become of fate? It slithered right in, all covered in sin. All were perplexed; no one second guessed. Just like Adam and Eve, no one could see what was up it's sleave. No one but me. I saw the truth, while others believed lies. Lies that took friends. Lies that took love. Lies that took lives. This serpent won't rest until all are in it's hold. I can hear thunderstorms They are out to show their prowess And I wonder what takes you so long Secretly, I thought you have disappeared. Alone in Her Own Mind

Alone in Her Own Mind Tired. Afraid. Scared and hurting but too stubborn to ask him to return too bitter to ask for forgiveness. She stands alone in the darkness, naked arms wrapped around herself, clutching tightly to try and keep out the chill. Her violet eyes are wide in her pale face, framed by her rat's nest of raven hair. The land around her is barren forever; a wasteland of broken promises and abandoned dreams. All I wanted was to be loved, to have a family, to have a warm home. I was not given that in this life. My parents don't love me. I have been beaten, and locked in a cage, and starved. I never heard "I love you" but I'd do anything to hear that. I sit out on the porch crying. They either don't hear me or are ignoring me, like always. Attention to all: This is missy-star (https://www.deviantart.com/missy-star) writing here, and first and foremost I would like to apologise for my lack of contribution to this club, MistressBlaed (https://www.deviantart.com/mistressblaed) has been a doll and has kept the club running while I've been too preoccupied in my life.  I'm really sorry for leaving you under the pressure of answering notes and posting up poems, Emily [Mistress]. This club will be closed for awhile, who knows it might pop up from the grave in future, but for know, it's best that we don't seem (namingly me) ignorant. Cheers, Emily missy-star

^^; So, this club has kind of gone to the dogs in the past few months, what with school for missy-star (https://www.deviantart.com/missy-star) and adjusting to adult life for MistressBlaed (https://www.deviantart.com/mistressblaed). BUT! The club lives on! Sorry about the delay and everything, but we will be working on posting all the submissions and such. I hope that no one has given up on us, or on this club.
